Bhubaneswar: The Higher Education Department today published the 1st selection Merit List of Phase-I admission into Undergraduate (UG) (+3 Degree) Courses.

The statistics are as follows:

1. Total sanctioned seat strength- 2,74,331
2. Total students applied- 2,37,795
3. Total no. of students selected- 1,78,976
4. Total male selected- 72,556
5. Total female selected- 1,06,414
6. Total transgender selected- 6

Stream-wise Highest Cut-off Marks are as follows:

1. Arts Stream: Ravenshaw University, Cuttack - 89.67 % (Geography)
2. Science Stream: i) Physical Science- Ravenshaw University, Cuttack - 91.17 % (Physics) and ii) Biological Science- Ravenshaw University, Cuttack - 93.20 % (Zoology)
3. Commerce Stream: Ravenshaw University, Cuttack - 88.60 % (Commerce)
4. Shastri Stream: Sri Radhamadhab Sanskrit (Degree) College - 68.57 % (Shastri)
5. Self-Financing Stream: Buxi Jagabandhu Bidyadhar (Autonomous) College, Bhubaneswar - 87.40 % (Bio-Technology)
6. Law Stream: Madhusudan Law University, Cuttack -81.00 (5 Year Integrated B.A.LL.B )
