Bus skids off road in Odisha's Ganjam; 1 killed, 30 injured

Ganjam: A bus accident killed one and injured more than 30 passengers in Digapahandi area of Odisha's Ganjam district, today.

According to reports, the bus travelling from Rayagada to Berhampur fell into Taptapani ghat. The drive lost control of the vehicle as it made a turn.

Rescued by locals and police officials, the injured were rushed to Digapahandi Community Health Centre.

The deceased has been identified as Raghua Gouda of Dwaragaon village. The victims had come to Chandipur village in Mohana area from Dwaragaon village in Digapahandi area in a mini-bus. The mishap took place while they were returning home.
