CBI nabs 2 postal officials in Odisha for taking bribe

Bhubaneswar: Two officials of the Postal Department in Odisha’s Mayurbhanj district were arrested by the CBI on charges of accepting bribe today.

The two arrested officials have been identified as Rubi Das, the postal inspector of Badasahi Postal Division, and Sushant Kumar Das.

The two officials were caught accepting a bribe of Rs 50,000 from Assistant Postmaster Ajit Kumar Rout today. The duo had earlier taken Rs 15,000 as bribe from Rout, posted at Manatri Deopada post office, to provide him increments.
