Bhubaneswar: The release date of teaser trailor of the official video of the official song for Odisha Hockey Men's World Cup Bhubaneswar 2018 has been announced today.

The teaser of the official song, titled “Jai Hind, Jai India” will be released on November 18 (Sunday).

This was announced by none other than the man behind the song; Grammy award-winning music composer AR Rahman on his official Twitter handle.

The video song, which focuses on the message ‘purpose is loftier than victory or defeat’, featured Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan and some prominent hockey players.

Earlier, Rahman had expressed happiness directing the ‘King Khan’ in the video. “Having Shah Rukh join us made it even more interesting," Rahman had said in a statement.

The song is composed by Rahman and penned by celebrated lyricist-poet Gulzar.

Worth mentioning here that the “Jai Ho” fame singer had agreed to perform live at the opening ceremony of Hockey Men’s World Cup at Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar on November 27 and at Barabati Stadium the next day.

The fourteenth edition of the prestigious hockey competition is scheduled to take place from November 28 to December 16.
