An initiative has been taken under RUSA in the field of education that holds immense potential for both the students and faculties. Utkal University, as a pioneering institution, was entrusted with the development of e- Lectures through a state-of-the-art virtual tutorial studio established for this purpose.

A dedicated web portal: https://vtputkal.odisha.gov.in, previously created by the National Informatics Centre (NIC), has been launched to facilitate this initiative, an official source said.

The e-Lectures are now available for core papers of 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th semesters in about eleven subjects, including Physics, Chemistry, Zoology, Botany, Political Science, Odia, History, English, Psychology, Commerce, and Economics, which have already been uploaded to the web portal.

Encouraging the students to explore this resource will not only supplement their studies but also contribute to the overall growth and adaptation of technology in education. The e-Lectures cover a wide range of subjects, ensuring that students from various disciplines can benefit from it, which aims to enhance the learning experience by providing quality educational content in a digital format.
