Here’re details on traffic advisory issued in view of Baliyatra

Bhubaneswar: Expecting a heavy footfall of visitors at Baliytara in Bhubaneswar and Cuttack, the Twin City Commissionerate Police today issued advisory for motorists and put restrictions on movement of vehicles from November 12.

In Cuttack, the traffic restrictions were issued from November 12 to 19 from 3 pm to 1 am.

The Commissionerate Police have designated 10 parking places for visitors.

Vehicles coming towards Baliyatra from Matamatha area will have parking space prior to the DPC office. Similarly, motorists coming from Hawada Motor Chhak and Manisahu Chhak will have to take a right turn at Hotel Green Chhak and park their vehicle at the parking space.

Here are the details of the traffic advisory:

In view of Baliyatra at Kuakhai river bed of village Mancheswar and Jaripatna from November 12 to 20, the Commissionerate Police has issued traffic advisory from 3 pm to 11 pm for smooth passage of traffic and convenience of general public.

All the heavy vehicles and tourist vehicles including bus shall not be allowed to ply on Nandankanan to Puri road via Patia, Kuakhai embankment road up to Palasuni. The vehicles will be diverted from Patia bridge, Padma Kehsaripur, Palasuni and they will avail NH-16

No heavy vehicles shall be allowed to ply from Palasuni Kuakhai bridge cut towards Baliyatra ground and Nandankanan.

No vehicles shall be allowed to park on either side of the embankment road from Mancheswar to Barimunda village.
