“Diwali to me is synonymous to being with my family. I have maximum fun that day with eating delicacies and bursting firecrackers. Diwali in our household is a huge family get-together. I appeal to the people to celebrate a safe Diwali, with crackers that do no harm to your family, kids and the environment.

I have a special Diwali treat for my fans and well-wishers. It has been a secret so far. But I’d like to reveal the name of my next movie as a Diwali surprise. It is named as: Hela Mate Prema Jara. I hope that my fans will support me as always.”

“This Diwali I wish to do something different. I wish to add real pleasure to this festival by celebrating a clean and green Diwali. Sharing sweets, clothes and gifts with the elderly and needy children will bring smiles to their faces and will light up the evening. I also intend to organise a charity show and raise funds for oldage homes and orphanages.

My best wishes to my fans, friends and well-wishers on the auspicious occasion of Diwali. Keep smiling and enjoy a green Diwali. Every individual’s effort will add to the mission. Jai Odisha… Jai Jagannath.”

“I am actually racing the clock this Diwali. I hardly have time for any other event or festival, as I am busy with the post-production and promotions for my upcoming movie ‘Kalki’. Though I’m planning to spend the evening of the festival with my family, I am afraid it might not be feasible. If the audience gives ‘Kalki’, a grand applause and receives it well, my hard work and my team’s efforts would be paid off. This will indeed be a grand Diwali gift for me.”

“Diwali symbolizes the triumph of good over evil; of light over darkness. I try to spend time with underprivileged kids as much as possible. And this year, during Diwali, I would be doing the same. I request the people to spend less on crackers and save some money for those who cannot afford happiness. I also urge the people to say ‘no’ to noisy firecrackers. I wish the people of Odisha a happy Diwali.”

“I plan to spend Diwali in Puri with my friends. With shooting for movies and endorsements, I hardly get time to let my hair down and just relax. I hardly have time during festivals too. The beach, Lord Jagannath’s darshan and some mouth-watering delicacies, all in the presence of my buddies, is what I am looking for this Diwali.”
