Chennai, June 2:

Over 100 idols/sculptures were seized from a house in the Tamil Nadu capital on Thursday, police said.

Armed with court order to break open two rooms in a house located in posh locality here, police carried out their search for a second time.

Two days back, police had seized 34 idols/sculptures from that house and took three security persons into custody.

The owner of the house Deenadayalan, who also ran an art gallery here, is absconding, police said, adding the investigations are continuing. (IANS)
