Sambalpur: The Sambalpur police have arrested three siblings for allegedly cheating a man of around ₹25 lakh by promising him high returns on his investment. Police also seized ₹15.5 lakh in cash and gold ornaments worth around ₹12 lakh from the accused.

The arrested persons have been identified as Jharana Badi, Rajesh Badi and Rajkumari Badi, residents of Puruna Basti under Jharsuguda Town police limits.

According to the complaint filed by Lipak Kumar Pradhan, Jharana introduced herself as Disha Agrawal and approached him with a promise of high returns on investment.
