Maoists torch 3 tractors, 2 JCBs opposing road construction in Odisha

Kalahandi: The Maoists reportedly torched three tractors and two JCBs opposing road construction at Nuamunda village under Rampur police limits here late on Tuesday night.

However, no casualty is reported so far in the incident.

According to reports, over a dozen of red rebels torched the vehicles used in the road construction work at the village.

This is the second violent act by the ultras in the tribal dominated Kalahandi district of Odisha in three days.

On May 12, the Maoists had blown up an under-construction CRPF camp at Trilochanpur under Lanjigarh block.
