Bhubaneswar: Yet another girl from Odisha has made a mark at national level as Shivangi Kushal Saraf has been crowned as first runner-up of Mrs India Queen of Substance. The Rourkelite was given a rousing welcome today upon her arrival in Steel City.

“I feel very honoured and privileged to be a part of this country and also I am representing India everywhere I go. I feel good that I make India and Rourkela proud. I would like to give credit to my father, mother, husband and family members for their support as this is teamwork,” Shivangi told media.

The 25-year-old was also bestowed with Mrs Best Personality-2018 at the three-day beauty pageant held at ITC Welcome Hotel in Dwarka last month. Bollywood actors Mahima Choudhary and Poonam Dhillon were among the jury members.

The annual event is organised to celebrate the spirit of womanhood and give a platform to talented married women, who have somewhere, forgot to live their dream in the struggle of being a good wife, mother and homemaker.

Born and brought up in Rourkela, Shivangi stays in Patna with her husband.
