Bhubaneswar: The Bhubaneswar Chartered Accountants Association is all set to hold the Chartered Accountants’ Conference at Hotel Mantra, Pal Heights, Pahala on April 18.
The one-day conference is scheduled to commence at 10 am. The conference will witness participation from Chartered Accountants, Cost Accountants, and finance professionals from Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, and various parts of Odisha.
Justice Sanjeeb Kumar Panigrahi of the Orissa High Court will grace the occasion as the chief guest. Eminent dignitaries including former Chief Secretary (IAS) and present Chairman of the Odisha Electricity Regulatory Commission, Pradeep Kumar Jena; Dinabandhu Sahu, Principal AG of Odisha; Saroj Kumar Mahapatra, Principal Commissioner of Income Tax (Cuttack & Sambalpur), Saroj Kumar Mahapatra, and senior officials from the finance and regulatory sectors will also participate in the event.
The conference will deliberate on key professional issues such as:
--Regulatory Oversight and Professional Autonomy of Chartered Accountants
--Audit of Public Sector Undertakings-Transparency and Accountability
--Income Tax Act’ 2025 Reforms and Roal of Professionals in the changed scenario.
--Challenges to Professionals and its Remedies.
The event is expected to host around 200–250 participants, including representatives from companies, banks, and insurance companies.
This conference aims to enhance the professional competence of Chartered Accountants, Cost Accountants, and finance professionals, enabling them to deliver better and more transparent services to businesses and the public.
The programme will be organised by the association under Narad Prasad Sahu, President and Chandrakanta Prusty serving as Vice President, along with other office bearers of the association.
