Bhubaneswar: The Sambad Group organised the Senior Super Shuttler event on the third day of Let’s Shuttle 4.0 grand finale in the Odisha capital on Sunday.

RBI’s Marut Prakash Behera (GM) and Abinash Dash Mahapatra (Officer) bagged the Senior Super Shuttler title this year.

Altogether 22 players (11 teams) participated in the Senior Super Shuttler event of the mega tournament. These players are:

The grand finale of Let’s Shuttle 4.0, the biggest badminton carnival in Odisha, commenced at Biju Patnaik Indoor Stadium, Niladri Vihar, in Bhubaneswar, on March 27.

The inaugural ceremony was graced by Brijendra Pratap Singh, Chairman and Managing Director of National Aluminium Company Limited, as the Chief Guest.

The Guests of Prominence included Sangeeta Sahoo, Director of Ruchi Foodline, and Sushmita Tripathy, General Manager (Corporate Communication), Indian Oil Corporation Limited, Odisha.

Other dignitaries present on the occasion included Monica Nayyar Patnaik, Director of Eastern Media Limited, and Tanaya Patnaik, Editor of Sambad and Kanak News.

Organised by the Sambad Group, the Let’s Shuttle tournament has grown into a major grassroots badminton movement since its inception in 2022. What started as a single-location tournament has now expanded to 15 locations across Odisha, drawing widespread participation and building a strong community of badminton enthusiasts across the state.
