Bhubaneswar: The grand finale of Odisha’s biggest badminton carnival, Let’s Shuttle 4.0, commenced today at the Biju Patnaik Indoor Stadium, Niladri Vihar, in Bhubaneswar, marking the beginning of a three-day sporting spectacle that will continue till March 29, 2026.
Organised by Sambad Group, the event has grown into a major grassroots badminton movement since its inception in 2022. What started as a single-location tournament has now expanded to 15 locations across Odisha, drawing widespread participation and building a strong community of badminton enthusiasts across the state.

The inaugural ceremony was graced by Brijendra Pratap Singh, Chairman and Managing Director of National Aluminium Company Limited, as the Chief Guest.
The Guests of Prominence included Sangeeta Sahoo, Director of Ruchi Foodline, and Sushmita Tripathy, General Manager (Corporate Communication), Indian Oil Corporation Limited, Odisha.
Other dignitaries present on the occasion included Monica Nayyar Patnaik, Director of Eastern Media Limited, and Tanaya Patnaik, Editor of Sambad and Kanak News.

This year’s edition witnessed around 1,500 registrations from across the state, out of which the top 150 teams have qualified for the Masters. The tournament is being played across five categories, ensuring a competitive and inclusive platform for players of varying skill levels.
Over the past four editions, Let’s Shuttle has engaged more than 3,000 badminton lovers, reinforcing its position as a premier platform for nurturing grassroots talent in Odisha. The preliminary rounds of the current edition were held across 15 cities, including Sambalpur, Rourkela, Puri, Paradeep, Nimapara, Jharsuguda, Jeypore, Jajpur, Cuttack, Balangir, Bhubaneswar, Berhampur, Baripada, Balasore, and Angul.

The Masters event brings together the best-performing teams from these locations, promising high-intensity matches and an electrifying atmosphere for players and spectators alike. With an expected footfall of around 1,800 attendees, the three-day event is set to celebrate sporting excellence and community participation.
With its consistent expansion and vision to reach every corner of Odisha in the coming years, Let’s Shuttle continues to play a pivotal role in promoting badminton and encouraging a culture of fitness and sportsmanship across the state.
