Bhubaneswar: SVNIRTAR, Cuttack, in collaboration with the Commissionerate Police, organised a hearing screening camp for the traffic police personnel on the occasion of World Hearing Day recently.

It also distributed EPD (Ear Protection Devices) among the traffic personnel.

The programme was organised by the Department of Speech and Hearing, SVNIRTAR, at Madhupatna Traffic Police Station in Cuttack.

The event was inaugurated by ACP Jayant Kumar Dora and IIC Anirudha Nayak, who appreciated the initiative aimed at protecting the hearing health of traffic personnel who are continuously exposed to high levels of traffic noise.

Faculty members, staff, and students of SVNIRTAR actively participated in conducting the hearing screening and spreading awareness about hearing conservation and the importance of using ear protection devices.

This initiative reflects a commitment to promoting hearing health and supporting those who serve the community.
