Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today announced construction of pucca houses for those families whose houses were completely or substantially damaged during cyclone FANI.

The house damage assessment will begin from May 15 and will be completed within a week, the CM said.

In all the extremely severely affected blocks, senior officers will be appointed to supervise the assessment process. Work order distribution to the beneficiaries will begin from June 1, Patnaik said.

"I assure that all out efforts will be put so that not a single eligible person will be left out," he said.
