Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi is scheduled to embark on a two-day visit to his hometown in Keonjhar district on June 23 (Sunday).

This will be Majhi’s first visit to his native place after taking oath as the Chief Minister of the state on June 12.

As per the itinerary, Majhi will reach Ghatagaon in Keonjhar from the capital city by air at 10.25 am on June 23 and lead a roadshow from Ghatagaon High School ground to Maa Tarini temple.

The Chief Minister is scheduled to reach Keonjhar town at around 1.10 pm after offering prayers at Maa Tarini temple.

He will participate in a roadshow, a felicitation ceremony and a public meeting at Keonjhar in the afternoon. Majhi is scheduled to make a night halt at Keonjhar, said sources in the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO).

The Chief Minister will visit his native village Raikala in Keonjhar Sadar area on June 24 (Monday). He is scheduled to take part in a roadshow from Raikala to Jhumpura, before addressing a felicitation ceremony-cum-public meeting in the locality.

Majhi will return to the capital city by air after having lunch at his residence at Raikala and holding interaction with the locals in the afternoon.
