Bhubaneswar: The police have launched a probe after a suspicious drone was found near the house of Bargarh MP Suresh Pujari in Odisha’s Jharsuguda district today.

The drone was found near Pujari’s rented house at Gandhi Square in Belpahar area of Jharsuguda in the afternoon.

The police launched a probe after Pujari informed the incident to Jharsuguda Superintendent of Police (SP) Parmar Smit Parshottamdas. The cops have seized the drone.

The drone flew over Pujari’s house for a few minutes before falling on the ground after crashing into an electricity tower, sources said.

Pujari was away from his house when the incident took place, sources said.

Notably, Pujari has been nominated by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) to fight the upcoming Assembly elections from Odisha from Brajrajnagar constituency in Jharsuguda district.
