Ollywood producer Rajesh Ranjan Pati has moved an anticipatory bail plea in the Orissa High Court seeking relief after actor Upasana Mohanty filed an FIR with Laxmisagar police station in Odisha capital yesterday.

According to sources, the movie producer has filed anticipatory bail application in the High Court on July 16.

Rajesh Ranjan Pati had accused Upasana of threatening to falsely implicate him in casting couch case every time he asked to return his money given as advance for a movie project.

Following this, Upasana had filed a complaint with Laxmisagar police on Wednesday in this connection. The following day, the police registered the case against Pati who allegedly threatened Upasana with dire consequences if she refused to marry him.

The producer was booked under section 506 (criminal intimidation) and 509 (gesture intending to insult the modesty of a woman) of IPC.
