Houston: Around 50,000 spectators at NRG Football Stadium in Houston of United States got a glimpse of Odissi dance during the ‘Howdy Modi’ programme today.

During a showcase of Indian classical dances at the programme, the Odissi dancers kept the audiences spellbound with their amazing performances. Also, other Indian dances were performed during the event showcasing India’s cultural diversity.

Earlier in the day, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is on a week-long USA visit, was welcomed by Indian diaspora in Houston. He met people from Sikh and Bohra communities and Kashmir Pandits before attending the ‘Howdy Modi’ progarmme.
