Bhubaneswar: Frontline comedian in Ollywood Tatwa Prakash Satapathy alias Papu Pom Pom will be flown to All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi for treatment tomorrow as his health condition has deteriorated.

The popular actor is undergoing treatment in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of a private medical college and hospital here for pancreas-related ailment.

The ailing actor will be shifted to the premier healthcare institute in an air ambulance, sources said.

Notably, the actor was shooting for the upcoming Odia movie ‘4 Idiots’ in Thailand where he took ill. The shooting schedule was cancelled and he was rushed to Bhubaneswar for medical consultation. After investigations, the doctor advised hospitalization and since last Friday night he is undergoing treatment for pancreas-related disease.

The actor hailing from Kaptipada in Mayurbhanj district has spent over a decade in the cinema and television industry. In his sterling career, he has acted in around 15 movies. Apart from his successful run, he had unsuccessfully contested from Champua assembly segment in the last election.
