Over 80 pc students clear Plus-II Arts exams in Odisha; Girls outshine boys

Bhubaneswar: The Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) today announced the results of the Plus-II Arts examinations-2024 in Odisha.

The overall pass percentage in Arts stream stood at 80.95 per cent.

Altogether 2,35,218 students had appeared the exams. Among them, 1,90,429 have cleared the exams, said the CHSE.

As per the CHSE data, 1,04, 447 boys had appeared the exams. Among them, 75,913 have been declared successful. The pass percentage of boys is 72.68 per cent.

Similarly, 1,30,771 girls had appeared the Plus-II Arts exams this year. Among them, 1,14,516 have cleared the tests. The pass percentage for girls is 87.56 per cent.

A total of 21 higher secondary schools in Odisha have achieved 100 per cent results this year, said the CHSE.

This year’s pass percentage in Arts stream is higher than last year’s figure. The overall pass percentage in the stream was 78.88 per cent in 2023.

Altogether 2,30,545 students had appeared the exams in 2023. Of them, 1,81,869 students had cleared the tests.
