The Hindustani classical singer will be accompanied by Pt Ram Kumar Mishra on table and Sougata Banerjee among others.

Notably, Bhubaneswar Development Authority (BDA) has entered in to an understanding with SPIC MACAY to help organise at least two major classical music events every year in one of the major public parks of Bhubaneswar in line with the 'Music in the Park' held regularly in New Delhi's Nehru Park.

Bhubaneswar will be only the third major cities after Delhi and Jaipur to organise such a program. Earlier SPIC MACAY had on its own organised Music In the Park in 2011 featuring Pt Hariprasad Chourasia (Hindustani flute) and Ustad Shahid Parvez (Sitar) in lead up to the national convention held at Ravenshaw University.

The program is supported by BDA, Odisha Mining Corporation (OMC), Bhubaneswar Municipality Corporation (BMC), IMFA, Hotel Crown (hospitality partner), Sambad (print partner), Kanak News and Radio Choklate (electronic media partner), OdishaLive (digital media partner) and TeamAdmark (outdoor media partner).

The program is free and open to public.
