Bhubaneswar: Congress Parliamentary Party chairperson Sonia Gandhi and former president of All India Congress Committee (AICC) Rahul Gandhi are scheduled to visit Odisha in the first week of May to campaign for party candidates ahead of 2024 polls in the state.

This was revealed by Koraput MP and Congress candidate for the same Lok Sabha seat Saptagiri Ulaka today.

Top Congress leaders Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi will visit Odisha in the first week of May. The two leaders are scheduled to campaign for Congress candidates at various places of Koraput, Jeypore, Rayagada and Gunupur during their Odisha visit, Ulaka said.

Sonia and Rahul are likely to participate in a few road shows in support of Congress candidates in Koraput and Rayagada districts. Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy will accompany Sonia and Rahul during their Odisha tour, Ulaka added.

Notably, four Lok Sabha seats in Odisha—Kalahandi, Nabarangpur, Berhampur and Koraput—and 28 Assembly segments coming under their jurisdictions will go for polls on May 13.
