Bhubaneswar: Thunderstorm accompanied with hail and gusty surface wind with speed reaching up to 50-60 KM per hour is likely to occur in 14 districts of Odisha between 9.30 pm today and 1.30 am tomorrow.

The districts likely to be affected are Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Malkangiri, Kendrapara, Jagatsinghpur, Cuttack, Khorda, Puri, Nayagarh, Angul and Dhenkanal.

“Latest doppler weather radar and satellite imageries indicate that thunderstorm accompanied with hail and gusty surface wind speed reaching 50 to 60 KMPH likely to occur over the districts of Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Malkangiri, Kendrapara, Jagatsinghpur, Cuttack, Khordha , Puri, Nayagarh, Angul and Dhenkanal between 9.30 pm today and 1.30 am tomorrow,” said a bulletin issued by the local Meteorological Centre here.
