Bhubaneswar: While the world is applauding the efforts of Odisha for cyclone preparedness, help is also pouring in from all quarters for this cyclone-hit state in India.

French Odissi dancer Mahina Khanum took to social media to share a video showing support for the state that she frequents.

She praises the spirit of Odisha and prays for the well-being of the people. "We contributed to the CMO Odisha Relief Fund, and we encourage you to contribute too, each and everyone according to their means (see first comment below). But we felt we needed to do a bit more than that. So here are a few words from us to all of our friends in Odisha," she wrote in her Facebook post.

Many of her French students who are undergoing Odissi training also featured in the video uttering the words "Bande Utkala Janani". They have also made contributions to the Odisha Chief Minister's Relief Fund
