25-feet 'Thailand Ganesh' will be the tallest idol in Odisha!

The largest idol of Lord Ganesh named 'Thailand Ganesh' is going to be installed at a pandal near IMFA park in the Shahid Nagar area of Odisha capital. "For the last 10 years, the Ganesh puja organised at IMFA park by the Winners Association has been attracting the devotees in large numbers. "Our attractive and majestic idols have always been the talk of the town" said the members of the association.

Under the supervision of the sculptor Arun Kumar Mohapatra, 10 workers are tirelessly engaged since the last month in pulling this feat off. This idol is 25-feet tall and 35-feet wide with the tummy of the idol at a whopping circumference of 22-feet.

The president of the association, Jitendra Pati said, "Rs. 1.5 lakh has been spent on this idol. We also have placed a huge ladoo on Lord Ganesh's hand weighing about 18 kg."
