3 Express trains halted following heavy water flow on tracks in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Train services have been affected at separate places in the state due to heavy water flow on tracks between Deogaon Road-Bargarh railway line in Sambalpur-Titlagarh section today following incessant rain.

Reportedly, the Sambalpur-Rayagada Express has been stranded at Barapali in Bargarh district while Ajmer-Puri Express train has been halted at Loisinga in Bolangir district. Besides, the Ispat Express has been halted at Dunguriapalli in Sonepur district.

"The tracks have been suspended in view of the safety of trains and passengers. All the three trains have been halted temporarily. The services will resume once the water level recedes," said a railway official.
