ASTHA to hold national level oratory contest; know details on eligibility, registration and prize money

Bhubaneswar: ASTHA School of Management will hold ‘yugmA’, a national level oratory contest, for undergraduate students for two days starting February 21.

The contest will be held at the institution’s campus at Panchamukhi Vihar in Balianta area in the city here.

Candidates pursuing any regular undergraduate programme under AICTE/UGC approved institutions can participate in the contest, said a senior official of the institution.

“Nomination of the candidate will be accepted only if it is endorsed by the college authorities,” he added.

Age of the candidates should be within 18-22 years. Only two students from a particular institution would be allowed to participate in the contest.

“The purpose of the contest is to integrate education with spiritualism and recognize young talents with elated intellect, competencies and conscience.  Prizes worth over Rs 1 lakh will be distributed at the contest,” said the official.

Free registration for the event can be done by filing in the registration form provided with the invitation mail sent to various institutions, he added.
