Bhubaneswar: Mumbai-bound Konark Express from Bhubaneswar has been cancelled today due to late running of connecting train in view of heavy rain in Mumbai.

The train departs Bhubaneswar Railway Station at 3.25 PM everyday.

Railway sources said the Bhubaneswar-CSMT Konark Express will remain cancelled today owing to late running of connecting train by over 22 hours following waterlogging on tracks due to heavy rain in Mumbai. Besides, landslide in Mumbai Division in Maharashtra has also led to the late running of the trains.

Besides, the Bhubaneswar-Lokmanya Tilak Superfast Express scheduled to depart the Odisha capital this morning has been cancelled due heavy rainfall and water-logging at several stations in Mumbai.

The bi-weekly Bhubaneswar-Lokmanya Tilak Superfast Train departs Bhubaneswar at 7.10 AM on Monday and Thursday and arrive at Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 1.35 PM on Tuesday and Friday.
