Bhubaneswar: A stretch of National Highway 326 near Palukhola in Taptapani Ghat on the Ganjam-Gajapati border in Odisha was submerged due to heavy rainfall caused by Cyclone 'Arnab'.

As per reports, muddy water flowing down the hills has flooded the road, leaving vehicles stranded on both sides of the road. The situation has disrupted vehicular movement, with commuters being unable to cross the ghat road.

Meanwhile, Gajapati police have issued a traffic advisory following a rise in water levels near Ledabandha Bridge on the Luhagudi-Mohana road.

Police have placed barricades near the affected bridge and diverted vehicles through Chandiput to ensure public safety.

The police have advised people to avoid the affected stretch and follow the instructions of personnel deployed on the ground.
