Bhubaneswar: Bollywood actor and hands-on mom Esha Deol took time off from her busy schedule for an Odissi recital, looking her stunning self, in New Delhi recently.

Dream girl Hema Malini's daughter took to social media to share her pictures and a snippet of her performance with her mother, who is a well-known Bharatnatyam dancer herself.

Bedecked in traditional Odissi costume, her ethereal performance at Siri Fort auditorium came after a hiatus, especially after the birth of her daughter Radhya Takhtani in October 2017.

Hema Malini, along with the Deol sisters, Esha and Ahana, has been doing Bharatnatyam and Odissi stage shows across the world and in India, for over a decade now. Esha is the disciple of Mumbai-based Odissi guru Rabindra Atibuddhi, who also has students in actors like Meenakshi Sheshadri and Rani Mukherjee. During her younger days, the Dhoom actor was more into sports and it was her mother who inspired her to take up classical dancing.

In an interview to a national daily, Esha had once revealed that her days of classical dance training helped her as an actor and a performer in Bollywood.
