Rayagada: On charges of inflicting sexual assault on a woman, the Rayagada Town Police arrested Additional Fire Officer Ramesh Chandra Behera today.

Based on a written complaint lodged by the woman, the police lodged a Case no 255 against Ramesh Chandra Behera. 

Rayagada Police Station IIC Prasanna Kumar Behera informed the Additional Fire Officer will be forwarded to the court after a medical examination. 

According to the complaint, Ramesh Chandra Behera had been in a sexual relationship with the complainant for the past two years. Even he was torturing the complainant, who is a mother of two children.
