Puri: Relief materials have been reaching Cyclone Fani hit districts in Odisha that are slowly returning to normalcy.

Signature 24 Productions, a private company based in Bhubaneswar and Kolkata came forward to feed 100 families in the interior villages of Puri district, which has been worst-hit by Cyclone Fani.

Joyeeta Roy, the founder director of the company, initiated a campaign to collect donations from Kolkata-based companies and individuals for the cause.

Eminent actors from Bengal industry, socialites and premier FMCG brand ITC contributed generously to carry out relief work.

The main purpose was to ensure proper food reaching to the people and we plan to continue this venture till Puri is back to its stature, Joyeeta said.
