Mumbai: Actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, who finally made the much-awaited appearance at the ongoing Cannes Film Festival, was seen greeting Hollywood star Eva Longoria with cheek-kisses at the prestigious event. 

Longoria took to her stories section on Instagram, where she re-shared a video from Galafr featuring her and Aishwarya. In the clip, the Hollywood star, who is dressed in white, makes her way on the red carpet and then greets Aishawarya, whom she has known for years, with kisses. The duo was seen posing for pictures, too, at the festival, which will conclude on May 23. 

Eva also shared a photograph, a string of pictures from the red carpet, and wrote in the caption: All white for the Palais.”

Longoria had even met actress Jacqueline Fernandez at the event. The Bollywood personality lauded Hollywood star Eva Longoria’s efforts to create a platform rooted in hope, dignity, inclusion, and equal opportunity. 

Tagging the experience powerful and inspiring, Jacqueline wrote in the caption section: “@evalongoria @mariarbravo thank you for having me co chair the @globalgiftfoundation with you today in Cannes.”

She added: “What makes this foundation so special is that it combines awareness with real action and long-term impact! Talking about Aishwarya, the actress wore a custom-made outfit by designer Amit Aggarwal, who even shared pictures of her from the event. She wore “Crystal Vein embroidery, where thousands of crystalline embellishments converge within sculptural lattice-like structures to create an interplay of luminosity, depth, and fluidity.”

As per the details shared on the caption section of the designer, it took more than “1500 hours of intricate craftsmanship, the gown is rendered in an abyss blue inspired by cosmic light and infinite space, with every surface engineered to refract and transform under movement and illumination.”
