Cuttack: Trouble mounted for Odisha actor Tattwa Prakash Satapathy, popularly known as Papu Pom Pom, as an FIR was today lodged against him at the Nischintakoili police station for mocking internet sensation Ranu Mondal in a video.

The FIR has been lodged against the comedian by the Nischintakoili Nagarika Manch.

On the other hand, Papu today apologised for his act saying that he meant no disrespect to the woman.

"I had made the video with an intention of popularising the song. It was a 'gift' from one artist to another. However, controversy has emerged over the clip. If my actions have hurt anyone, I apologise," Papu said.
