Malkangiri: Incessant rainfall inundated multiple bridges in Odisha's Malkangiri district affecting road communication badly.

Water flowed over bridges near Undrukonda, Korukonda, MV-37, Kanyashram, MV-90, Kangrukonda and Potteru on NH-326 following torrential rain. Vehicles remained stranded on both sides of the bridges.

Road communication between Malkangiri-Kalimela, Malkangiri-Balimela, Kalimela-Padia and Kalimela-Motu was snapped. The district headquarters town remained cut off from Motu, Kalimela and MV-79.

The district has recorded 174.83 mm rainfall in the last three days.
