Bargarh: In view of heavy rainfall that caused flood-like situation in Bargarh district, the authorities declared holiday for all the educational institutions today.

The collector ordered to shut all the schools and colleges on Wednesday as the incessant rain continue to create havoc in the western Odisha district.

Further decision will be taken after reviewing the situation today.

According to reports, the roads and houses are inundated with rain water disrupting the normal life. The communications have been badly hit in the district due to heavy rains in the past two days.
