Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Government today effected a bureaucratic reshuffle in the IAS cadre, including appointment of Pradeep Kumar Jena as the new Special Relief Commissioner (SRC).

Jena has also been appointed as the Principal Secretary of the Rural Development Department and Managing Director of Odisha State Disaster Management Authority (OSDMA).

Similarly, Bishnupada Sethi, who was serving as the SRC, has been posted as Energy Department Secretary with additional charge of CMD, Odisha Hydro Power Corporation (OHPC).

Industries Department Secretary Sanjeev Chopra has been given the charge of Principal Secretary, Home Department with additional charge of Principal Secretary, General Administration & Public Grievance Department.

Agriculture and Farmers' Empowerment Department Secretary Saurabh Garg has been given additional charge of CMD, GRIDCO and OPTCL, and CEO, OCPL.

Hemant Sharma has been appointed as Industries Department Secretary with additional charge of MSME Department Secretary and CMD, IPICOL.

Chithra Arumugam has been posted as School & Mass Education Department Secretary. Water Resources Department Special Secretary Vishal Gagan has been given additional charge of Secretary of the same department.

Aravind Agrawal, Director, Social Welfare, has been entrusted with additional charge of Additional Secretary, General Administration & Public Grievance Department.

Mona Sharma has been appointed as Forest & Environment Department Secretary.
