Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik today unfurled the tricolour during state-level Independence Day celebrations here.

Greeting people of Odisha at Exhibition Ground on 73rd Independence Day, Patnaik remembered the freedom fighters for their sacrifices and contribution for which the country achieved freedom from British rule.

He paid tributes to the soldiers of nation on the auspicious occasion.

Worth mentioning, the I-Day celebrations venue in Bhubaneswar has been shifted to Exhibition Ground from Mahatma Gandhi Marg this year.
