Cuttack: The Orissa High Court today served notice to Odisha government and Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to submit their responses to petitions seeking CBI probe into the much talked about alleged gang rape and suicide of a minor girl in Kunduli in Koraput district.

A division bench of the High Court comprising of Chief Justice Vineet Saran and Justice B R Sarangi while conducting a hearing on petitions filed by the victim’s brother and president of Utkal Bharat Kharabela Swain seeking CBI probe in the matter issued notices to the State Chief Secretary, Home Secretary, DG Police, Koraput S P and Director CBI to file their replies by May 3.

The next date for hearing on the matter has been fixed for May 3.
