Kunduli gang rape: Odisha HC asks Govt to submit probe report in 4 weeks

Cuttack:  The Orissa High Court (HC) today asked the state Government to complete investigation into the sensational gang rape and suicide of a minor girl in Kunduli of Koraput district that had created much hue and cry in the state two years ago.

The court asked the Government to complete the probe and submit its report within four weeks of time.

The HC also recommended the state Government to conduct a probe into the incident by a Special Investigation Team (SIT) if the investigation report is found not to be satisfactory.

Worth mentioning, a minor tribal girl of Sorisapadar village in Kunduli of Koraput district was allegedly gang raped by a group of security personnel on October 10 last year. She had allegedly committed suicide in her house on January 22.
