Bhubaneswar: At least three persons sustained grievous injuries after they were attacked with swords by some miscreants in the Odisha capital here today.

The incident took place in Bharatpur area of the city. The injured have been identified as Bishu, Bapi and Sangram of the locality.

As per the reports, the victims were attacked by a group of around 30 youths from a slum at Sampur under Bharatpur police limits over a land dispute in the afternoon.

The miscreants allegedly chased the three victims and attacked them with swords. The injured have been rushed to Capital Hospital.

On being informed, the police reached the spot and launched a probe into the incident.
