Manas Mangaraj named Leader in Rajya Sabha

Bhubaneswar: The Biju Janata Dal (BJD) has appointed Manas Ranjan Mangaraj as the Leader of its Parliamentary Party in the Rajya Sabha following the recent biennial elections and retirement of senior members.

Sulata Deo becomes Deputy Leader and Chief Whip

Sulata Deo has been designated as the Deputy Leader and Chief Whip of the BJD Parliamentary Party in the Upper House, strengthening the party’s leadership structure.

Sasmit Patra’s resignation accepted

The reshuffle comes after BJD President Naveen Patnaik accepted the resignation of Dr. Sasmit Patra from the post of Leader of the party in the Rajya Sabha.
