Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government has registered corruption cases against 230 government officials and employees during the 2025-26 financial year, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi informed the Assembly today.
Replying to a question in the House, the Chief Minister said that among those booked, 52 are Class-I officers and 41 belong to the Class-II category.
Out of the 206 cases that were disposed of, 102 officials were found guilty. As many as 23 employees were dismissed from service, the CM informed.
Majhi said cash worth Rs 10.27 crore was seized during raids conducted across the state by Vigilance during the financial year. In cases related to disproportionate assets, movable and immovable properties valued at Rs 4.76 crore were also detected by the agency, the CM said.
