Bhubaneswar: The police have busted a sex racket in Odisha’s Ganjam district and arrested six persons, including the kingpin, in this connection.

The sex racket was being operated from a building at Sankha Sahi in Bhanjanagar area of Ganjam.

On a tip-off, a team of Bhanjanagar police, led by Sub-Inspector Samir Kumar Sethi, raided the building. The police arrested the kingpin of the racket, four customers and a woman during the raid.

The cops have also seized liquor bottles, cigarettes and some objectionable items from the building.

The accused persons were later produced in a local court. According to police, the arrested woman is a native of Khurda district and she was staying in Bhanjanagar area for last many days.
