Bhubaneswar: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will attend the second anniversary celebration of the BJP government in Odisha.

This was revealed by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi today.

“I had extended a cordial invitation to the Prime Minister to attend the second anniversary celebration of the BJP government in Odisha. We received a green signal in this regard yesterday,” said the Chief Minister while speaking at an event in the capital city on Thursday.

Earlier, the Chief Minister had announced that the BJP government will celebrate its second anniversary in a simple manner in view of the worldwide energy crisis caused by the Middle East war.

As per the decision, the state government will organise a series of events from June 12 to 21 as part of its second anniversary celebration. Besides, the government will launch a media campaign to highlights its achievements as well as initiatives in last two years, said the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO).

Moreover, the authorities will hold thematic events to showcase Odisha’s growth story, its potential in various fields and future course of action, aligned with the Vikshit Odisha 2036 goals.

During the 10-day celebration, the ministers will hold press meets to highlights the achievements of their respective departments. Besides, the departments will distribute leaflets and publish booklets to create awareness among people, added the CMO.
