Bhubaneswar: Senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi is scheduled to visit Odisha in the second week of July, informed Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC) president Bhakta Charan Das today.

Gandhi will be accompanied by Congress national president Mallikarjun Kharge during this visit. Both senior leaders are expected to participate in a public meeting in Bhubaneswar, said Das.

Gandhi and Kharge will take part in a party programme focused on opposing violence against women, he said.

The OPCC chief said that the detailed itinerary of the visit will be announced soon.
