Bhubaneswar: By generating total revenue of ₹26.31 crore during the financial year 2025–26, the Nandankanan Zoological Park has achieved a historic milestone.
The zoo also recorded an all-time high footfall of 39,76,615 visitors during the period. Of these, 37,96,341 people visited the zoological park, while 1,80,274 visited the State Botanical Garden, according to official sources.
The visitor count included 33,48,933 adults, 6,26,646 children, and 1,036 foreign nationals.
In terms of revenue, ₹16.27 crore was collected from entry fees, parking, camera charges, and other visitor-related services. An additional ₹9.81 crore came from outsourced facilities, while ₹0.23 crore was generated through the ‘Adopt an Animal’ programme.
