Light and Sound show equipment looted from Dhauli in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Lights and other equipment worth more than Rs 1 lakh were looted from the Light and Sound show at Dhauli hill on outskirts of the city here.

A written complaint was filed by Tri Colour India's operating engineer Rashmi Ranjan Panda about the theft with Dhauli police on Wednesday.

Acting on the complaint Dhauli police reached Shanti Stupa for probe in the case.

Out of five BM lights installed on premises of the Light and Sound show, two lights were stolen and each light worth more than Rs 1 lakh, said Panda.

According to reports, the miscreants looted the equipment and lights after end of the Light and Sound show at Shanti Stupa late on Tuesday night.

The inconveniences are occurring in holding the show due to lack of lights stolen from here, said another official of Tri Colour India, the New Delhi-based and ITDC-owned Company managing the Light and Sound show at Dhauli.
